Year 3 Enjoying the Exotic Gardens

Year 3 enjoyed an exciting visit to the Exotic Gardens at La Misere this week as part of their science topic on plants. Students explored the stunning gardens using their own map and plant identification chart. There were so many colourful leaves, flowers and trees to see as well as insects, tortoise, snails, slugs and fish. A fun, informative, hot time was had by students and staff alike!

Year 13 Breakfast Celebration

The Year 13 were treated to a fabulous breakfast buffet The Savoy Hotel in Beau Vallon. Mr Mike Cosh, the Head of Sixth Form and a number of staff joined the students to celebrate their last day of school and the start of their study leave. Many of these students will be moving overseas next year to commence University courses in worldwide destinations. ISS are proud of their achievements and wish them all the very best for their next steps.

Earth Day April 22nd

ISS wildlife club members joined other local wildlife groups on a march around Victoria on Saturday April 22nd. The enthusiastic youngsters, local wildlife club leaders and friends designed and displayed posters suggesting ways to ‘Save the Earth’ and the procession was followed up by various ‘Wildlife Safari activities and Treasure hunts’ held in the Peace Park.
