Trust for Sustainable Living International Essay competition – organised by the Ministry of Education
Schools around the world were invited to participate in an essay writing competition entitled
‘My vision, partnerships for a sustainable future’. Vanshika Parikh’s essay Year 9 was commended and she was chosen as a finalist and asked to represent the school and Seychelles in an International debate. The subject of the Secondary debate was….. ‘To achieve the UN SDG’s global partnerships are more important than local ones’. The student took along an observer and assistant Tejsasvi Kerai and during the International debate they made us very proud and spoke clearly about the subject. 89 students took part in this debate in a Zoom conference on Monday 6th July. Congratulations to all the Seychelles participants and to Vanshika and Tejasvi for representing ISS.
