World Wildlife Week

A number of speakers came in to talk to the primary children during the
week. We were lucky to have a visiting vet addressed the Wildlife club
about caring for their pets. Alice Hurn from the UK also spoke to a group
of 5th formers about how she became and vet and what prospects and
expectations they would have if they entered this profession.
Later that week Ben Taylor came to speak to Primary children about
Endangered animals in the Seychelles. 784 species in Seychelles are on the
ICUN red list and of these 190 are considered to be threatened species! We
hope that by educating the children about their environment we can help to
conserve these precious animals, plants and birds
