Year 8 students visit SSPCA

A group of the Eco Club students who helped to raise funds for the SSPCA went along to deliver a cheque of the money raised at their Bake Sale. The cheque for 6114 SR was gratefully received and will go towards building more outdoor exercise areas for the many stray dogs at the centre. At the moment there are 145 dogs and puppies and 25 cats and kittens! The enthusiastic animal lovers all ended up cuddling the young animals and 4 of the pupils are keen to volunteer at the SSPCA in the future. Anyone who wishes to adopt a puppy or kitten can call the SSPCA or visit the centre any weekday morning.
