As Head of Inclusion and Safeguarding at ISS, Beverly is committed to ensuring that every student feels safe, included, valued and respected. She believes that inclusion means recognising and celebrating individual differences, removing barriers to learning and providing every learner with the appropriate support and challenge to reach their potential.
Beverly is passionate about developing a strong whole-school culture of safeguarding, where every member of staff understands their responsibility to protect children and where students feel confident that they will be listened to and supported. She believes that safeguarding, inclusion and wellbeing are closely connected and should be at the heart of every child’s educational experience.
Her approach strongly reflects the values of ISS — particularly Community, Determination, Integrity, Optimism, Respect and Tolerance, and Responsibility. Beverly is committed to working collaboratively with staff, students and families to create an inclusive and caring environment where every child can thrive.
