At ISS, SEND Primary School is a child and family-centered department. We are proud that our children are well cared for and equally valued. Our Children’s’ attainment is in line with the National average and they make better than average progress during their time with us. We believe that learning should be fun and that children should have a strong voice in driving their learning ambitions. SEND provides a broad and stimulating support intervention curriculum. We always seek to enhance our provision for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Additional Learning Needs (ALN), as well as, English as an Additional Language (EAL); with a range of special educational needs of resources and teaching methods to remove barriers to learning. The majority of our children with SEND and ALN in Primary school are also provided with in-class support and EAL withdrawal support.
