Environment day 2020

Students in the ISS celebrated 5th June Environment day by exploring our school grounds and adjacent environment. Pupils took time to carefully examine the diverse species of flora and fauna and identify them. The wetlands and gardens (medicinal, vegetable and wildlife) offered a wide variety to contemplate. The mangrove platform allows access to observe that unique eco-system and shows how our seedlings from the mangrove nursery are thriving. Some classes produced some excellent artwork of our endemic flora while others planted seedlings and young trees and plants. Well done everyone who participated!
