RUNWAY SUCCESS

Class 2 checked in for their annual adventure at Seychelles International Airport last week. Warmly welcomed by the fire crew of the Airport Emergency Services, the class learned all about the safety procedures at the ‘air-side’ of the airport and what needs to be done in the event of an accident. A large Air Seychelles passenger jet landed during the visit and there was a steady coming and going of Air Seychelles domestic flights to Praslin. The tours culminated in realistic non emergency sprints down the runway with the excited pupils aboard hi-tec tenders and witnessed spectacular demonstrations of the power of the water cannons.
