World Environment Day

ISS celebrated World Environment Day throughout last week with a number of exciting activities. Pupils from R1 up to Year 5 heard all about how we can look after turtles from the Marine Conservation Society. They even got to see some turtle carapaces and saw lots of photos and films all about turtles. The Junior section had further talks about living more sustainably from S4S and about protecting our coral from GVI. All classes got involved in recycled art projects too, showing off how we can up-cycle our waste. Many thanks to everyone involved. We hope that by celebrating Environment Week with exciting events we are reminded to look after our environment every day.
