Wise Oceans working in collaboration with the Environmental Trust fund, Ministry of Education and Human Resource development came to ISS to deliver a programme of interactive coral reef workshops. The Primary wildlife club and Year 3 classes were introduced to the beauty of the coral reef and the students were excited to learn more about life below the ocean. They participated in some junk modelling making fishes and coral reefs out of empty bottles and boxes. Many thanks to Wise Oceans for visiting ISS and sharing their coral reef expertise with us.

First Global Robotics Competition – Team Seychelles Selection Process

Written by admin. Posted in FrontpageNews

The ISS Team (Mikhail Rudchenko, Ronan Varsani, Toshani Khanna) had to present their design and control program for a robot. They also had to manoeuvre a robot, getting it to pick up a solar panel and two boxes, carrying them from one point to another. The final step was to get the robot to start a windmill spinning.

We wait to hear if they will be chosen to be in Team Seychelles, which will take part in the Finals of the competition in Dubai in October 2019.
